Navigating Europe with the Best Small Travel Stroller : A Real Parent’s Perspective

I have looked at the pictures we made on our recent tour countless times now!

This plan was due a long ago. We knew it was going to be challenging for us since we were traveling for the first time with our little princess. We are seasoned travelers. My wife Hannah and I decided to take our 8-month-old daughter Leia on a European adventure. Navigating through new cities is not a big deal for us but traveling with Leia seemed like a big adventure itself to us. That is why the selection of the best small travel stroller was very important to us. However, in our minds, we had an idea that it should be compact, durable and lightweight. Basically, to handle all the rigors of our trip.

After hours of researching and talking, finally we narrowed down to a few options. These options meet what we had in our minds for selecting the best travel stroller. We wanted something with a foldable and lightweight design. What made it appealing was that I was small and can be used for a long period as the kid grows up. Finally, we bought a small travel stroller for Leia. We prayed that the trip would be comfortable for all of us.

A SMALL TRAVEL STROLLER STORY

We started our travel journey from the hustle and bustle of Heathrow Airport in London. Moving through the crowded places with the family luggage and baby in tow was not easy at all.

As I have discussed above, this is one of the most important factors we considered for my trip. Since baby Leia was in the stroller, so we were very comfortable carrying her around. Stroller was small in size so moving from the entrance to the airplane became very easy for us.

We reached Paris and checked into our hotel rooms. The whole process of getting in and out of the plane and our hotel car to the hotel room was so easy. I was managing the luggage and my wife was moving around with the stroller. However, the day we went out to explore created a whole new set of challenges. Parents who have visited Paris will relate to us. The narrow cobblestone streets tested our patience. But, to our surprise, our travel friendly stroller held it very well. The wheel had good breaks which made it easy for us also. Moving through crowded places became easy for us as Leila and us were exploring the City of Lights.

I felt like we were flying past everyone! 😀

Exploring Barcelona with the Small Travel Stroller:

Our next stop was Barcelona. The beauty of Barcelona is exploring the cool alleyways of the Gothic Quarter and the busy markets. Our small travel stroller was like a little car, moving us around like a pro.

You will notice one thing there are cobblestone pathways and narrow corners everywhere. But it was an amazing experience.

Exploring Rome with the Small Travel Stroller

This was the place that truly showed what type of stroller we had selected. It has these ancient ruins with old buildings and tricky stairs. Moving through the Coliseum and the Roman Forum, there were countless stairs, narrow spaces and uneven pathways. It was a big comfort that our small stroller moved around the entire trip admirably. There were times when had to carry Leia and another one was holding the stroller. Since it was not heavy, we were very comfortable. Leia took a few naps during the entire trip. 😀

CONCLUSION

Looking back, we are glad that we selected the best small travel stroller for our trip. It made our trip unforgettable. Leia was comfortable the whole trip, and so were we.
